Swiss Aid for Mother and Child (SHMK) is a social and charitable relief organisation. It provides advice and direct assistance to women, couples and families in distress due to a pregnancy or childbirth situation. The SHMK is recognized in all cantons and by the Swiss federal government as a non-profit foundation. It is independent, nationally active and ZEWO certified. It was audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers and complies with the latest accounting standards (Swiss GAAP FER21) to meet the highest demands for transparency, operating efficiency and effective use of funds.
