Baby window for mothers in distress opened at Schwyz Hospital
From December 16, 2025, the “baby window” service for mothers in extreme emergency situations will now be available at Schwyz Hospital. The baby window previously operated at AMEOS Hospital Einsiedeln is now closed and the service has been transferred in full to Schwyz Hospital. The baby window at Schwyz Hospital is operated together by Swiss Aid for Mother and Child (SHMK) and Schwyz Hospital – in close coordination with the Office for Child and Adult Protection (KESB) in Brunnen (SZ).
